Jaydon's Logic
Today was a make up snow day for the older two kiddos but a lazy day for me and Jaydon. When I asked Jaydon to get dressed, he put on the clothes he wore yesterday from the floor - (yes I know-sue me for not picking up last night) - I explained that those clothes really needed to go in the dirty clothes but he could put on anything else he wanted. He explained to me that he didn't know that new clothes would be comfortable but he did know that tomorrow's (he means yesterday's) clothes were comfortable so he was just going to wear them. Guess what he got to wear today???

Double Negative
Latest Articles on the new and facinating world of government accounting....
Debt Service
Budget
Sometimes I wonder if working in government and working as an accountant weren't inately boring enough I decided to mix them together.
However two negatives make a positive and if you add in a healthy dose of election season, recession and budget amendments it is quite entertaining. Lucky for me I work with some pretty fun people to keep it all interesting.

Farmer Girl

JamieAnn's school had a field trip to an old fashioned school house in Pilot Point last week. Here is a picture of the costume I got for her - she even insisted on packing a "historic" lunch - Bacon, Biscuits, boiled eggs, apples and a Mason Jar of Tea. (No Bannanas - those are tropical fruits! - she informed me). She had a really fun day - she is reading the Laura Ingles Wilder books right now and is on "Farmer Boy" so this field trip was a real treat.
