New Church Home???

I finally drug the kids out the door this morning to try out a new church. As you can imagine I was ready to find a new church home - guess what??? They loved it!!!

I'm glad - it is was hard to find a church with a great kids program but one that wasn't too "couple" centered. This one even has a singles group attached to their larger home church and a women's class one night a week. I'm trying not to get too excited too soon, but I'm hoping this will work out well for us all.

Uphill bothways

JamieAnn, Jacan and Jaydon asked for permission to stay up late tonight to watch the Kids Choice awards on Nickaloden. Sure... afterall I'm a cool mom - They settled in up stairs and I even started making a batch of surpise "cheater" (place and bake) cookies.

Then Jacan has the audacity to come down stairs to inform me that they have decided that they are coming down stairs to watch the show on the living room TV- (I'm already watching a movie) - AND I'm not making the cookies that THEY want....

I'm pretty sure at 8 I never had they guts to try to kick my parents off the living room TV and I NEVER would have complained about the type of cookies my mom made for me!!!!

If only there was a hill I could make them walk up both ways to get to school - they'd be on it first thing Monday morning!
